We believe people are far more likely to learn, grow and keep coming back when they’re enjoying themselves and feel like they belong.

That’s why Rainbow Roos looks a little different to traditional soccer coaching. We don’t build our sessions around winning, comparison or getting everyone to do exactly the same thing at exactly the same time.

We build them around the people in front of us.

Fun isn’t the reward for learning. It’s how we learn.

What Matters To Us

If people enjoy being active, they’re more likely to participate, learn, build confidence and develop a positive relationship with sport that keeps them wanting to come back.

Activities can be adapted around different abilities, confidence levels and support needs so everyone has an opportunity to participate.

Everyone develops differently. We celebrate individual progress rather than comparing one participant with another.

Making mistakes is part of learning. We create an environment where people feel comfortable trying something new.

Skills matter, but the person matters more. Confidence, connection, resilience and enjoyment will always be bigger measures of success for us.

It means our sessions can be noisy, energetic and occasionally a little chaotic.

Activities change regularly. Coaches adapt games when something isn’t working. Someone might need an extra challenge while somebody else needs more time, more support or simply the freedom to watch before joining in.

And that’s completely fine.

We don’t expect people to adapt to our sessions. We adapt our sessions to the people in them.

Soccer. Done Differently.

We’re proud to teach soccer and help people develop their skills. But we’re equally proud when someone joins in for the first time, makes a new friend, grows in confidence or discovers that being active can actually be fun.

That’s our approach. And it’s one we’re not prepared to compromise on.
